36th MT District Convention

The 36th Montana District Convention will be held June 9-12 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center (1223 Mullowney Lane Billings, MT 59101). Registration begins at 8am; followed by devotions in floor committees at 9am.

Your congregation’s first responsibility for the convention is to establish a representative for the Circuit Forum at which a selection of a Pastor to the office of Circuit Visitor will be made.  The slate of those selections is to be ratified by the District Convention.  The Circuit Forum is to be called at the direction of the current Circuit Visitor.  It must be held prior to  January 31, 2025. A Circuit Forum may include other business and/or edification and study, but its chief duty in this cycle is to select a Pastor to be Circuit Visitor.

Opening Worship

Opening worship will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 537 Grand Ave, Billings, at 7pm
